THEO BARBOSA OF TEAM GENJAGA WILL PLAY FOR GOLD

Our very own Theo Barbosa, Second on Team Genjaga will be playing for Gold in the U18 Canadian Men's National Championship in Timmins ON.

The boys bounced back from a 3-point deficit to score four in third end of the semi final game vs Quebec 2 Friday the 13th (yikes for Team Quebec 2). They went on to steal two consecutive ends to jump out to a 6-3 lead after 5 ends. The team defended well and controlled the scoreboard to win the game 6-5.

Team Genjaga now plays for gold in the championship game vs Quebec 1 on Saturday Feb 14 at 2:30 pm.

So let's cheer Team Ontario 2 (Team Genjaga) to Gold Medal Victory. No matter what happens, both the Acton CC and Dixie CC are proud of what these young men have accomplished! This overnight success has been years in the making.  Thank you Acton CC for your overwhelming support.  The club and its members has a lot to do with the success our young lad, Theo is now experiencing and for that, the Barbosa family is very thankful for everything the club has done and offered to him.  Let's go ONTAAARRRRRIOOOO!!!!
