At the 44th annual Halton-Peel Men's Bonspiel, hosted this year by the Milton Curling Club, two of this tournament's four events were won by ACC teams.
The tournament's 'B' Event trophy was captured by a Tom Dearing skipped squad (see photo below).
Its third event crown was won by the claimed by the team of Brad Frazer, Mitch Jewell, Lee Jewell and Scott Russell.
Frazer, back on the first weekend in December, also master-minded the Acton team which advanced in the Best Western Intermediate Zone 9 playdown. His team next heads to Markdale for the regional tournament.

Also competing for the ACC this season is the Emily Lloyd bantam girls' team. They successfully advanced at the Brampton Curling Club on Jan 14-15 weekend in the Zone 9 playdown for girls under 17 years old. In their quest to get into the Ontario provincial tournament for their age group, this team then headed to the Westmount Golf & Country Club in Kitchener the weekend of Jan 21-22 for the regional playoff -- but heart-breakingly lost the 'B' final.

Heading again to the Ontario men's curling championship -- this season's tournament in Stratford starting Feb 6th -- is Joe Frans. Frans plays the second position for the Corner rink (Peter Corner, Graeme McCarrel, Frans and Darryl Prebble).
